The Brand Services unit manages Brand Victoria, an international brand for Melbourne and Victoria. Brand Victoria provides the means to consistently market Victoria's key international export sectors - tourism, education, investment, skilled migration, arts and events. The unit also manages the Tourism Victoria brand and a range of creative services, including graphic design and visual resources.

The Unit has three core areas:

Brand Victoria

Brand objectives include:

  • Positioning Victoria internationally as the destination of choice for investors, migrants, tourists and students.
  • Capturing Victoria's individuality, strengths and regional diversity.
  • Generating pride among Victorians for their state and for Melbourne.

This destination brand is available for use by organisations involved in marketing Melbourne and Victoria to international stakeholders, including internationally broadcast events, education, skilled migration, tourism and investment.

Collateral Production

The unit works with a panel of preferred suppliers to design and produce Tourism Victoria’s corporate and consumer print communications. It is also responsible for the maintenance and distribution of guidelines for the production of Tourism Victoria branded publications.

Visual resources

The unit manages and maintains visionsofvictoria.com, an online image library containing a vast library of digital footage and more than 6,000 images of Melbourne and Victoria. The image library encompasses still and moving images, which are available for use by media, campaign committees, graphic designers and business. Registration and access to downloadable images is free. The cost of access to other images varies according to client type and intended use.
