DTN Victoria Touring Campaign 2009In April 2009 Tourism Victoria New Zealand office entered a partnership with DTN Holidays for a Victorian Touring Campaign.DTN is the self drive division of Go Holidays (Stella Travel Services). They are renowned within the Travel Industry for their car rental programs that they operate for destinations throughout the world and have of recent years been actively putting together drive holidays. They have secured a large distribution share in the New Zealand market with all retail groups. In 2009 Tourism Victoria is looking to increase the Drive Victoria profile by joining with DTN for a special one off full colour tabloid, featuring a number of Victoria's driving holidays. The campaign will be an 8 page tabloid of which 15,000 copies will be produced. In addition to the tabloid, several advertisements will be placed in the NZ Herald which will have a call to action to Harvey World Travel, Travel Smart and Flight Centres. The market objectives of this campaign is to raise the profile to both consumers and the travel industry on Victoria's drive holidays and to increase the range of regions and drives marketed to both Consumers and Travel Agents. The campaign has a sales period of 3 months with a travel period of 6 months through to September 2009. |
