AAA Tourism

AAA Tourism manages, on behalf of Australia's Auto Clubs, Australia's official STAR Rating Scheme, which provides consistent STAR Ratings for approximately 10,000 accommodation properties located throughout Australia. STAR Ratings play an important role in the Australian tourism industry’s commitment to deliver quality visitor experiences. AAA Tourism has developed this Scheme into one of the world's leading accommodation quality certification schemes. STAR Rating Membership provides you with a license to use your STAR Rating in all marketing material and access to 7.7 Australian and New Zealand Auto Club Members through advertising in our guides and online.

Aboriginal Tourism Australia (ATA)

The ATA is the peak body representing the interests of the indigenous tourism sector. Tourism Victoria has worked in partnership with ATA in the development and implementation of Victoria's Aboriginal Tourism plan. The plan is a blue print for the future of the Aboriginal tourism industry, with the aim of nurturing existing indigenous tourism products, and encouraging the establishment of new businesses.

Accommodation Getaways Victoria Inc (AGV)

AGV is the primary peak industry association representing bed & breakfasts, farmstays, boutique hotels and self contained accommodation in Victoria providing advocacy, business discounts and savings and marketing opportunities for its members.

Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA)

AFTA is the official national body through which the business interests of travel are represented. It represents the majority of travel agents in Australia, including retail outlets, industry organisations, hotels, wholesalers and tour operators.

Australian Hotels & Hospitality Association (AHHA)

The AHHA's Accommodation division plays an influential role in the development of tourism strategy by having direct involvement and representation on Victoria's major tourism development organisations, including Tourism Victoria and the Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau.

Australian Tourism Data Warehouse

The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is a data storage facility that can be used by all levels of industry. It is not a web site or booking agency. It can be used by inbound tourism operators, retail travel agents and wholesalers as an invaluable tool for sourcing product, as well as an information source for globally recognised web sites such as australia.com. To be listed on the ATDW and consequently www.australia.com, Victorian tourism product must have and maintain a current listing with visitvictoria.com

Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC)

ATEC is the peak industry organisation representing inbound tourism operators and suppliers. ATEC represents and provides a range of membership services to all sectors of the inbound tourism industry, including: inbound tour operators, accommodation providers, attractions, airlines, cruise lines, transport and entertainment.

Caravan Trades and Industry Association (CTIA)

The CTIA is the peak body for the caravanning and camping industry. CTIA works to raise the awareness and image of the caravanning and camping industry, and to provide leadership and coordination to the industry. Tourism Victoria works with the CTIA across a range of issues, including the implementation of a national accreditation program for the industry.

Clubs Victoria Inc
