Queenscliff's famous Blues Train to leave the station two months early

Blues Train

Due to popular demand, the world's one and only Blues Train, located in the historical coastal town of Queenscliff, is starting its 2009-2010 season two months earlier than usual.

Dates in August and September have been added, and the organisers have taken extra steps to ensure passenger comfort during these colder months by adding a special winter menu, platform heating to make the carriages toasty warm, as well organising special rates on accommodation in the area.

The Blues Train, which is now sporting a brand new T-class #251 steam engine, is a unique award-winning experience that combines a steam train journey along Drysdale railway line on the scenic Bellarine Peninsula, with performances from Australia's best live blues acts, a delicious meal and fine wines.

Tickets for the 2009-2010 season are on sale now.
