New guide for Melbourne

New guide for Melbourne

A new guide has launched in Melbourne highlighting some of the city’s best finds and digging deeper into the stories behind the people that make up the Melbourne fabric.

Urban Walkabout Melbourne City is the first of a series of Melbourne guides designed for discerning visitors looking to find the best designer boutiques, galleries, concept stores, cafés and restaurants in the city.  The guides go beyond typical guidebooks with an emphasis on the stories behind the quality retailers showcased. Additional guides to St Kilda, Toorak/Armadale, South Yarra/Prahran/Windsor and Fitzroy/Collingwood are also set for release later this year, while a new smartphone application is currently under the construction which will directly link to social media.  The guides are available at most Melbourne hotels, airport lounges and visitor information centres.

Providing further opportunity to explore the city’s diverse retail offering, this July sees the return of Look.Stop.Shop, a free event that celebrates in-store retail experiences and aims to educate, inspire and entertain city visitors and shoppers. This immersive tour encourages visitors and locals to look, stop, connect and shop through the city’s retail precincts.
