Regional Marketing and Development Plans

Tourism Victoria is committed to developing a series of Regional Marketing and Development Plans (RMDPs) as part of the Regional Tourism Action Plan 2009-2012.

In May 2009, the first suite of RMDPs were released to assist industry partners in planning and coordinating marketing and development activities.

In 2011, Tourism Victoria have again developed RMDPs which provide stakeholders with a guide to Tourism Victoria’s priority activities for 2011-2012, including investment attraction, industry education, industry structures and marketing activities. It is envisaged that this information will assist industry to adequately budget and plan their own marketing activity and more effectively leverage Tourism Victoria’s proposed activity. The RMDPs will be released in February 2011.

While Tourism Victoria has made every effort to ensure activities are accurate, the RMDPs are subject to change due to budget and market requirements.
